Dallas Stars's Darnell Nurse did not make the team and was sent back for another year of junior hockey. The Dallas Stars expect him to make another run at a roster spot next season.

30-10-2013 Brenden Morrow reaches a milestone !
Brenden Morrow scored the 600th point of his career in tonight's game against the Edmonton Oilers. It is just part of my job, was his only comment for the media.
A native of Canada, Brenden Morrow was originally drafted to the NHL by the Dallas Stars in the 1st round of the 1997 entry draft. He has appeared in 899 NHL games during his career, notching 275 goals and adding 325 assists along with 1227 penalty minutes. The 34 year old left wing has played 11 games with the Dallas Stars this season, totalling 6+7=13 with 4 PIM.

Derek Roy (
) suffered groin injury during the game in an incident with Richard Panik (
). He is expected to be sidelined for around two weeks. This comes at a really bad time for us, but all I can do follow the rehab program and try to get back into the lineup as soon as possible, he said while limping toward the dressing room.
